Apple iPod Classic Discontinued, Disappears From Apple Store Online

Now officially a collector's item

If you still remember the iPod Classic that has been the portable music device that has served many for so many years, you might be saddened that Apple has finally decided to discontinued this product line yesterday when they announced the new iPhone 6. Revised over six generations, the iPod Classic was an instant hit when it was introduced back in 2001.

You won’t be able to find the iPod Classic anymore in Apple Store, only iPod Shuffle, Nano and Touch remains (not even on the certified refurbished page). If you have never owned one before and wishes to buy one for keepsake, you will still be able to find them on eBay and Amazon but you would have to pay for forwarding or shipping costs.
