After a record-breaking sale of 74.5 million units of iPhones in the 2015 first fiscal quarter financial results, Tim Cook revealed that the Apple Watch won’t be arriving in the stores anytime soon but will only ship in April.
When the Apple Watch was unveiled last year, Apple only gave an “early 2015” launch date, leading to speculations of the much-anticipated wearable to launch in March this year.
The Apple Watch is priced at US$349 for the basic model. Pricing on the premium models are unknown at this moment, sources are pointing that it could be in the thousands and could challenge luxury watch brands.
