Warner Bros buys rights to Sci-fi short film Sundays crowdfunded on Kickstarter

Indie filmmakers are making headway

Fans of sci-fi movies you gotta watch this one. Sundays is a US$50,000 crowdfunded sci-fi short film created by PostPanic that started back almost 3 years ago.

Filmed entirely in Mexico and after premiering on Vimeo couple weeks ago, it has gotten rather viral and viewed more than 400,000 times. So much so that Warner Bros caught wind of it and decides to buy the rights to do a full feature film on it.

Sundays tells a post-apocalyptic high-tech story where Ben finds himself confused and questioning after receiving faint glimpses of his past life and lover Isabelle.
