Star Wars Episode VIII is going to take some time so fans in the meantime can look forward to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story set to be released in December later this year.
The upcoming film is based on a stand-alone story set in the Star Wars universe which centers on the Rebel spies mission to steal plans for Galactic Empire’s Death Star. The film produced by Lucasfilm stars Felicity Jones, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. Hong Kong superstar Donnie Yen takes the role of an unnamed character in the film.
There are also rumors of Darth Vader cameo and Boba Fett showing up in the film.
