Popular group-buying site Groupon Singapore will be undergoing some major changes this Saturday, 13 August 2016 from 7am onwards to the evenings.
According to a notice given out through an email, the maintenance is part of a global update to improve the site and to deliver a better experience for customers. Not much details have been disclosed but we should expect design changes similar to the main Groupon USA site.
Groupon has also mentioned that the website and app will be down during the transition and users will not be able to access their Groupon vouchers. Mobile redemptions will be affected as well.
Which means if you are planning to use the Groupon vouchers this Saturday, please have them printed out prior to the site and app outage. To make up for the disruption and inconvenience caused, Groupon will be offering 5% sitewide discount today, 12 August. Simply enter discount code 5FORU during checkout to redeem.
