Even if you do not have a record player to play this, it’s still worth ordering one just for collection.
Take a look at the Voyager Golden Record. Nope, this isn’t your regular music vinyl or an original pressing from your favourite band. What you are pledging is, in fact, a 90-minute re-mastered copy of earth’s greatest music, dozens of natural sounds of our planet and 55 spoken human languages in a stunning golden phonograph record.
NASA launched two spacecraft, Voyager I and II back in 1977 to explore the mysteries of our solar system and beyond. In a hope to reach and communicate with extraterrestrials, mounted on each spacecraft is a gold record with a message that will introduce our civilisation. It will take perhaps billions of years before any being outside of earth would eventually discover them.

Shipping to Singapore costs a whopping US$70 more, most likely due to the weight of the box set. However, expect a long wait since the order fulfilment won’t happen anytime soon.
