Oh no, things are literally heating up for Samsung this past week as reports of the Galaxy Note 7 smartphones are still burning up, even when they have been replaced.

According to The Verge, there has been a total of five reports so far with one of them reported by a passenger while on a flight. Another user woke up at 4am to find his Note 7 unit had smoked up the room so bad he had to be hospitalised for acute bronchitis.

While it seems to be affecting Note 7 units in the USA region and no similar reports here in Singapore, it is still a growing concern among customers here.

With Samsung pausing the production for the flawed phone and major telcos in the USA are now letting customers exchange their Note 7 for other phones, local telcos could be mulling over their options now.
