Leaked photos of Apple new MacBook Pro shows “Magic Toolbar” in action

You can use it for Apple Pay

Leaked Apple Magic Toolbar

The new Macs are expected to be announced this Thursday (Friday morning Singapore time), but Apple accidentally leaked some photos on the new MacBook Pro with the much-speculated touchscreen toolbar.

If you have been holding off your MacBook purchase, you might be excited about the new feature. Turns out the new, allegedly called, Magic Toolbar has a touchscreen display that also scans fingerprints for payments with Apple Pay.

One thing for sure, if you are tired of assigning shortcuts and macros to the function buttons, particularly for designers who use Photoshop or Illustrator daily, the customizable toolbar might actually be pretty useful for custom actions.

Apart from the changes to the function buttons, it looks like the speakers have been relocated to the sides and now comes with grilles on them. It’s not known whether the pictures belong to the MacBook Pro 13 or 15-inch model but certainly looks closer to the former with the hand as a comparison.

We will bring you more updates on the new Macs this Friday.
