McDonald’s Malaysia mashes up ninjas and cuteness in a new TMNT x Hello Kitty Happy Meal collection
Things just got a whole lot cuter and a little more kick-butt at McDonald’s Malaysia.
In a crossover that blends pizza power with Sanrio charm, the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Hello Kitty & Friends Happy Meal toys have arrived, and they’re stealing hearts faster than you can say “Cowabunga!”
The campaign officially launches on 26 June 2025, and the excitement is already building.
Hello Kitty, But Make It Ninja
At the heart of this line-up are eight collectible figures, each pairing a beloved Sanrio character with a member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Hello Kitty dons Raphael’s iconic red mask and tough attitude in one version, then swaps over to blue as Leonardo in another. Whether she’s all smiles or ready to throw down in the sewer, she’s nailing the ninja-core look.
Kuromi, My Melody and Cinnamoroll Join the Fight
Not to be outdone, Kuromi gets two fierce mashups of her own — one with the cheeky Michelangelo and another with the moody Raphael. The contrast between her usual punk look and the Turtle gear is surprisingly seamless.
My Melody also pops up in two outfits, as Donatello with his signature purple band and as Leonardo. She somehow manages to look both sweet and serious, which is no easy feat when you’re wielding ninja weapons.
Cinnamoroll is the wildcard here. He shows up twice — once in his usual fluffy white form paired with Donatello, and again as a full-on green Michelangelo version. Yes, that means a green Cinnamoroll. And yes, it works.

Each week, McDonald’s is releasing a new pair of figures:
- 26 June: My Melody x Donatello, Hello Kitty x Leonardo
- 3 July: Cinnamoroll x Michelangelo, Kuromi x Raphael
- 10 July: Hello Kitty x Raphael, My Melody x Leonardo
- 17 July: Kuromi x Michelangelo, Cinnamoroll x Donatello
You’ll need to pace your Happy Meal runs if you want to collect the full set.
Limited Time Only While Stocks Last
This playful crossover is exclusive to McDonald’s Malaysia and based on early buzz, these toys are expected to fly off the shelves. Store displays are already showcasing all eight figures on proud rotation, ready to be snapped up by fans of all ages.
