Durian Fiesta 2017 returns to Goodwood Park Hotel from March to July this year

Looking forward to the latest edition of Durian Fiesta at Goodwood Park Hotel? You will be glad that it will be returning this Friday, 10 March 2017!

In Durian Fiesta 2017, the heritage hotel located in the heart of Orchard Road will make use of some of the trending ingredients this year including charcoal, sunflower seeds, matcha and salted caramel on pastries that will be introduced progressively.

Fortunately for durian fans, classics such as the D24 mousse cake, puffs and crepes will be available throughout the promotional period.

What’s New at Durian Fiesta 2017?

Among the total of fourteen premium confections announced by Goodwood Park Hotel this year, six of them are new creations. All pastries and cakes are made using quality D24 and ‘Mao Shan Wang’ durians:

• D24 ‘Starry Starry Night’ Ice Cream Cake – A distinctive charcoal sponge hugs a core of creamy homemade durian ice cream topped with gold star icings and dark chocolate.
• D24 Fried Sesame Balls – Coated with sesame seeds, the ‘shell’ is made with glutinous rice flour and gently deep-fried over low heat, before fresh durian mousse is piped in.
• D24 Sunflower Seed Crumble Tartlet / D24 Cashew Nut Crumble Tartlet – pastries of durian mousse generously coated with buttery vanilla crumble and either sunflower seeds or cashew nuts.
• The Durian Fiesta Mascot – Spiky the Bear
• D24 Matcha Cake
• D24 Salted Caramel Cuppa
