Based on the popular book series written by Stephen King, The Dark Tower is a multiverse science-fantasy fiction that revolves around a gunslinger and his quest toward a tower.
The film is directed and co-written by Nikolaj Arcel starring Idris Elba as Roland Deschain (The Gunslinger) and Matthew McConaughey as Walter Padick (The Man in Black). The story follows Jake Chambers (played by Tom Taylor), an 11-year-old adventure seeker who discovers clues about another dimension called Mid-World.
The Dark Tower is scheduled to release on 3 August later this year.
