After making a comeback with a range of entry-level mobile phones including the new 3310 feature phone, Nokia is making its presence felt again with yet another one.
This time, however, will be the Finnish phone company’s flagship model and it’s named Nokia 8.
Rumoured to be available later this year, the new Android-based smartphone will be the first serious and powerful model to compete with similar flagship offerings from major brands such as Google, LG, Xiaomi and Samsung.
Nokia 8 will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and will feature a 13-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics at the back and dual-SIM support.
HMD, the company overseeing the Nokia brand, will be holding a launch event in London on 16th August local date. Early leaks suggest the Nokia 8 will be available in five colours including a Copper Gold colour.
There’s no word on the pricing and region availability but we should know more on launch day.
