Later this month of October, LTA will be opening all 16 stations along the new Downtown Line 3.
The new line stretches from Bukit Panjang to Sungei Bedok passing through familiar interchange stations such as Newton, Little India, Macpherson, Bugis and Tampines.

LTA will be holding an open house this Sunday, 15 October from 10am to 6pm. The public will be able to experience the new stations as well as enjoy free rides throughout the 16 stations.
The 16 Downtown Line 3 stations are Fort Canning, Bencoolen, Jalan Besar, Bendemeer, Geylang Bahru, Mattar, MacPherson, Ubi, Kaki Bukit, Bedok North, Bedok Reservoir, Tampines West, Tampines, Tampines East, Upper Changi and Expo.
There will also be games, activities and celebrity performances lined up at the stations where the public can win attractive prizes.
