Cathay Cineplexes weekend movie ticket discount with Mastercard
The big news today is that Cathay Cineplexes is now sold away for a whopping $230m but not to worry, their big screens are not going anywhere and if you are heading to box office for the latest titles this weekend, you need to take a look at this promotion.
In conjunction with Mastercard, movie-goers can now enjoy a $5 discount on weekend tickets at Cathay Cineplexes (U.P. $13) when they tap & go with Mastercard contactless.
Payment must be made using Mastercard on Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay or other similar modes of contactless payments. Valid for regular 2D movie tickets only. See below for the full terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions
- Promotion is valid from 3 November to 3 December 2017, or while stocks last, whichever comes first.
- Payment must be made with a valid Mastercard credit/ debit card via contactless payment.
- Contactless payment refers to payments made by contactless enabled cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay and other similar modes of payment.
- Promotion is not valid for payment made via the traditional credit card payment function (i.e. inserted into credit card terminal)
- Valid for regular 2D movie tickets only (U.P. $13 per weekend movie ticket).
- Limited to 10 tickets per transaction per card member.
- Promotion is applicable at the box office manned counters only.
- Not valid for online/self-ticketing kiosk/mobile app/corporate/group bookings.
- Not valid for 3D, Hindi, Tamil, Special-Priced Tickets, Movie Marathon, Elite Club Seats, Ultima Seats, Platinum Movie Suites and Film Festival titles.
- Not valid with other discounts, promotions and voucher redemptions.
- Not valid for hall rental and block booking.
