Looking forward to buying your new drone on DJI website? Hold your horses because the Chinese drone manufacturer has just dropped the news that it will announce their latest model this week.
Set to be revealed in New York on 23 August 10am EDT (10pm Singapore time), expect to ‘See the Bigger Picture‘, according to DJI’s teaser video.
The new drone will likely be the successor to the first generation Mavic Pro which was released back in 2016.
Assuming it will be called the Mavic Pro 2, some improvements in the rumour mill suggest it will have better weatherproofing, hyperlapse mode, longer battery life which in turn increase its range and an optical zoom lens (28mm – 48mm).
The new Mavic Pro 2 will likely be priced similarly to its predecessor while a price drop is expected on the current Mavic Pro.
