Paulicious buns – so cute you won’t want to eat them
Can’t resist cute food? Paulicious is a new bakery in town that makes pau (buns in Chinese) that resembles cartoon characters.
Besides designing the buns that look like Line’s Brown, Gudetama, Doraemon and Hello Kitty, there are also ones that look like durian, gold ingot, corn, chilli, mushroom and banana.
The buns are filled with different flavours such as Tau Sha (green bean filling), lotus seed paste, barbecue pork, chocolate and more.
Paulicious, however, does not have a retail shop but goes around food shows and festivals as a pop-up bakery. You can follow their Facebook page for updates on where their booths will turn up at.
At the time of this writing, their next appearance will be at the World Food Fair Expo at Hall 5 from 30 August to 2 September.
