Thailand’s largest riverside mall ICONSIAM opens this November

Along the Chao Phraya River

Planning for a shopping getaway in Bangkok end of this year? You are in luck because ICONSIAM, the largest riverside mall along the Chao Phraya River, opens on 9 November ahead of schedule.

It will be Thailand’s largest riverside mall, taking up over 750,000 square metres offering world-class residential and the most glamorous retail complexes.

It will also feature Thailand’s first ever Takashimaya departmental store on a 36,000-sqm space.

An official Apple Store, also the first in Thailand, is rumoured to be located at the marked spot. The iPhone maker has been hiring for positions in Bangkok as early as last year.

Here’s another artist impression of how it will look like from inside ICONSIAM.

There’s even a floating market inside the mall.

A river park sits on the outside featuring the longest fountain show in Southeast Asia measuring over 400 metres.

Other highlights of ICONSIAM include a Michelin 3-star restaurant, an amusement park, a Nike Kicks Lounge and Singapore’s very own JUMBO seafood restaurant.
