Grab to start giving 100 reward points for every booking cancellation from October 8

No Cancellation Promise

Starting this week from 8 October onwards, Grab is making an effort to reduce the number of cancellations made by their drivers.

Because we all feel like this every time a driver cancels 3 minutes after a successful booking…

The first of many changes is rewarding customers with 100 GrabReward Points every time there’s a cancellation on your booking.

However, it won’t be valid if a GrabHitch driver cancels on you.

Doesn’t sound like much? Let’s just say it’s still better than nothing.

Besides giving free points, Grab promises rolling out service improvements that will deliver seamless bookings, faster arrival times and higher service standards in the coming weeks.

Perhaps all this has something to do with Go-Jek’s impending arrival later this month.

Or perhaps Grab simply wants to improve.

The campaign will only last till the end of this year, which means there’s a chance everything will return to the status quo when 2019 arrives.
