DJI has released another drone today.

The Mavic Mini is the latest compact ultralight drone to join the Mavic series targeted at beginners and enthusiasts.

Incredibly light

It weighs in at just 249 grams and has a portable and foldable design which you can even put in your oversized pocket. Its low weight class also means it is likely exempted from certain regulations in many countries.

Almost as small and light as an average smartphone today

Camera performance

The Mavic Mini is no slouch when it comes to camera performance. It comes with a camera that supports 12-megapixel aerial photos and 2.7K Quad HD videos and has a 3-axis gimbal that provides stability for cinematic footage.

Here’s a showreel captured using the Mavic Mini.

Flight Time

Even with Mavic Mini’s size limits, you can still enjoy up to 30 minutes of flight time.

Price and Availability

Price for Mavic Mini starts at US$375 (~S$510) for the standard combo and at US$485 (~S$660) for the Fly More Combo which includes more accessories such as batteries, propellers, Propeller Guards and protective case.
