Impossible Rendang Puffs now a thing in Singapore

Tip Top Curry Puff is known for their delicious handmade puffs with fillings made using a blend of spices and premium potatoes. In 1979, they started from a coffeeshop stall in Ang Mo Kio and has since grown to 9 outlets in Singapore.

The pastry skin on the puff is just as tasty, even when eaten on its own.

Impossible Rendang Burger

Following the growing trend of plant-based foods around the world, the curry puff maker has also created their own version of meat-free Rendang Puff using plant-based meat from Impossible Foods.

It’s the world’s first Impossible Rendang Puff and it’s available now at all Tip Top outlets in Singapore at $2.20 each.

Tastes like Beef Rendang

The meat fillings (tasted like real beef) is made with a special blend of Nonya spices including lemongrass and blue ginger, reminding us of beef rendang dishes from Nasi Padang stalls.

Taste Test Promotion

You can also buy both the Impossible Rendang and Beef Rendang Puffs at a promotional price of $3.80 and do a blind test with a buddy to find out just how close they tasted similar.

Needless to say, we couldn’t tell them apart.
