TPG Telecom offers new $10 plan with 50GB data monthly.
TPG Telecom Singapore has just announced its first paid subscription plan.
50GB data per month
Starting this week, interested customers will be able to apply for a SIM-only plan with the Australia-based telco that comes with a whopping 50GB data (4G LTE network) and costs only $10 per month.
The new contract-free mobile plan also comes with 300mins local talktime, 30 SMS, and 1GB Roaming Data to selected countries.
So cheap.
Things to take note
According to the information on TPG Telecom website, subscribers will still need to have a VoLTE-capable handset in order to make or receive local calls. Some of the models include Samsung Galaxy phones, Huawei, Honor and even some iPhone models.
You can find a list of supported phones here, although it is likely there are newer models that could unofficially work even if they are not listed.
Alternatively, you can also make use of TPG 4G Voice App to make and receive regular calls to your TPG mobile number even if your phone is not compatible or doesn’t support VoLTE.
Still worth it, considering it only costs you just ten bucks per month, even if it’s solely for the data only.
