2020 might not be the best year and if you are looking to change your luck in the new year, here’s a watch that might do just that.
G-SHOCK Daruma Series
Inspired by the popular Japanese good luck charm, the Daruma doll is modelled after Bodhidharma and is believed to be a symbol of perseverance and brings good luck to their owners.
The new Daruma G-SHOCK collection features red and black colour themes with Daruma motifs on the watch dials and backlight display.
When illuminated, there will be different Daruma face and body motifs float up in the displays.
The watches will also come with special packaging designed by Tokyo-based BlackEyePatch, as well as a special card displaying the Daruma doll.
Additionally, shoppers will also receive a Daruma sticker with any purchase of watch above S$169.
Coming to S’pore stores
There’s no word on the pricing yet but is expected to cost around S$180 – S$210 according to retail prices in Japan. It will be available at G-SHOCK PREMIUM, Marina Bay Sands and online from 1 January 2021, while stocks last.
