Limited stocks: Pay only $80 for Game & Watch Super Mario Bros handheld console
In the age of throwback revivals, Nintendo recently released their all-time favourite Super Mario game on a classic Game & Watch handheld console to celebrate the title’s 35th anniversary.
The huge demand from fans (and scalpers) led to an absurd price hike on the original price of US$49.99 (~S$66) to as much as S$150 per set when it was released. Up till today, prices are still around S$100 per set.
What’s inside the console
The pocketable Game & Watch console includes Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Ball (Mario version) and a digital clock.
It comes in a special golden colour theme based on the original Game & Watch system that was released in Japan in 1980. It is also Nintendo’s first-ever handheld gaming console created.

That’s pretty close to the original retail price.
What’s more, there’s also free shipping and a year’s warranty from the seller included, although you might need to ship it back to Hong Kong if things go wrong with the console since the seller is located there.
According to the seller, there’s limited stock available so you might want to decide fast before they’re all snapped up.
