McDonald’s new packaging designs for burgers, fries & drinks could look like this soon

Easy-to-understand graphics

Take a look at McDonald’s new packaging design set to roll out to restaurants globally

McDonald’s is known for its iconic food items such as Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish and French Fries. The packaging such as paper cups, burger wrappers/clamshells and fries boxes are also instantly recognizable from their colours and design.

Global Packaging Redesign

That could change as the fast-food giant has recently teamed up with brand design agency Pearlfisher to redesign their global packaging system from top to bottom.

According to Pearlfisher, the new packaging designs features McDonald’s playful point of view with evocative and easy-to-understand graphics.

Despite the new designs, they are still as recognizable regardless of where in the world orders are being assembled, shared and enjoyed.

Here’s a quick peek.

So cool.

Online reports are saying the designs will be rolled out globally such that the graphics of the new packaging are easy for customers to identify right away, no matter where in the world they are.

This also means they are likely to appear in McDonald’s stores in Singapore sometime in the near future.
