Believe it or not, there’s a yakitori place in town offering a bowl of Mazesoba (Japanese mixed noodles) for less than two bucks.
No catch whatsoever.

For a limited time this week from 15 – 21 March, simply make a table reservation during lunch hours between 11am and 3pm with Mr Skewer located in Robertson Walk to enjoy a bowl of Mazesoba for just $1.90.
The dish normally costs $10.80 without the promotion.

There’s also a variety of Mazesoba dishes to choose from if a single bowl doesn’t fill up your stomach.
Besides the cheap ramen fix, Mr Skewer also serves a variety of Japanese-inspired yakitori skewers such as yuzu-infused handmade meatballs charcoal-grilled to perfection.
There are also more common staple ingredients such as shrimp, meat chunks and vegetables.
