New Coastal PlayGrove now open in East Coast Park

Family-friendly destination
Formerly the Big Splash site, the 4.5-hectare Coastal PlayGrove officially opens today and is the latest family-friendly destination for a day of endless fun.
Play Tower
The giant playground features the Play Tower, Singapore’s tallest outdoor play feature with slides leading up to whopping 4 storeys high.
Standing at 16-metre high, it is also equipped with a Vertical Challenge on the inside, a vertical net play area for youths and adults. It opens from 8am to 8pm daily.
Water Play Area
Around the Play Tower, there will be wading pools connected by a stream with numerous water jets that light up at night. Visitors and little ones can dry up and change out at a toilet located nearby.
Nature-inspired areas
Besides getting wet and having fun in the tower, children can immerse themselves in nature that is interwoven into the landscape. The Nature Playgarden features several themed sections to introduce children to different habitats.
There will also be a bamboo tunnel trail and engage in imaginative play along log trails and at the teepees.
The Coastal PlayGrove will also have NParks’ first-ever outdoor classroom by the sea. It will be equipped with a large chalkboard with boulders and log stools, along with a sea view while learning at the same time.
Visitors will also be able to have fun at the massive open lawns, although venue bookings and all events remain suspended until further notice due to the pandemic.

By Car – Parking Charges:
- Mondays to Sundays (7.00am to 6.59am) – $0.60 per 1/2 hr
- For any parking session between 10.30pm and 7.00am the following day, the parking charge is subject to a maximum of $5.00
