New snack from SMH

This new bun oozes overflowing molten MILO lava filling when tearing it

MILO and chocolate lovers, you might want to look out for this snack for the next round of grocery run at a supermarket near you.

Molten MILO Lava Pau

Created by local dim sum manufacturer Sin Mui Heng (SMH), the new Wholemeal Molten MILO Lava Pau is now available at FairPrice and Sheng Siong supermarkets islandwide as well as online marketplace Shopee.

We spotted it selling at a promotional price of $7 for 2 packs of 4 in FairPrice and Shopee, which means you pay less than a dollar per bun.

It is easy to spot with the SMH logo and packaging design featuring a scoop of MILO powder.

Each pack comes with 4 buns nicely placed together in a plastic tray.

Here’s the list of ingredients in case you can’t take certain foods.

Do not oversteam

According to SMH, you should only steam it for 6 – 7 minutes (boiling water) after taking it out of the fridge for the perfect molten lava filling, any longer and it could result in a dried lava bun.

You should get an overflowing MILO lava filling when tearing apart the bun as shown by local Instagrammer @yuqinfooddiary below.

Sure looks yummy.

Only while stocks last so drop by soon before they’re all gone.
