New Thai snack stall in Golden Mile Complex draws long queues for their Pandan pancakes

This is a stall you must visit in Golden Mile Complex if you missed street snacks in Thailand.

Thai Coconut Pandan Kueh

Located in the Thai supermarket, a newly-opened stall that goes by the name Baan Kanom Thai is already getting a lot of attention for their authentic Thai snacks, particularly the Thai Pandan Pancakes.

They are priced at $4 for 10pcs or $7.50 for 20pcs, which means you pay as little as $0.38 each.

Their famous pancakes shaped similar to Malaysian Egg Cake a.k.a Kuih Bahulu also come in Purple Sweet Potato flavour.

Prior to opening the new stall, the owners started off as a home-based business a couple of years ago selling Thai snacks and desserts online and has since gained popularity, so much so they have decided to open a shop for walk-in customers.

According to their Facebook page and IG posts, their shop has been drawing long queues and sells out daily due to popular demand from fans and Thai snack lovers.

Baan Kanom Thai also sells roll-up versions of pancakes (Mini Tokyo Pancakes) with a variety of ingredients including pork and sausage if you prefer something savoury.

Other items available on the menu include:

  • Mini Pancakes
  • Thai Coconut Pancakes
  • Thai Coconut Pudding
  • Thai Pandan Pudding

Yummy.

Closed for short period

Before you rush down, do take note that Baan Kanom Thai will be closed temporarily for a week as the owners had to attend to urgent matters in Thailand. They will be resuming operations on 24 March (Thu).
