Din Tai Fung launching Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun from Nov 1 to welcome the holiday season

Steamed Chocolate Lava Buns are coming to Din Tai Fung restaurants this Nov/Dec

The festive season is upon us and popular Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐 is wasting no time to kickstart the holidays with a new dish.

Din Tai Fung will be launching a new Steamed Chocolate Lava Bun 巧克力流沙包 from 1 November, available at all outlets in Singapore.

According to the restaurant, the holiday-special snack is filled with 80% premium molten chocolate lava in a soft fluffy cocoa bun made using top-quality flour imported from Taiwan.

Each bun also has a gold brushed-up top for an elegant and shiny finish.

Sadly, it won’t be a permanent dish on the menu and will only be available for a limited run till 31 December this year. UOB cardmembers also get to enjoy 10% off the dish during the same period.

Besides chocolate lava buns, customers can extend their celebrations with other well-loved favourites such as the Steamed Red Bean Xiao Long Bao with Chocolate Lava and Steamed Custard Bun.

Perfect for those who can’t take chocolates or have sensitive stomaches.

  • Steamed Custard Bun $3 (1pc) / $9 (3pcs)
