Faster direct route for motorists

New 1.8km Tampines Viaduct scheduled to open later this month

Good news for motorists who frequently travel from TPE to PIE or Upper Changi Road East, Land Transport Authority (LTA) has confirmed the new Tampines Viaduct opening date.

Faster route to PIE (Tuas)

Starting on 19 February (Sun), the new 1.8km one-way viaduct will have a new Exit 2A along TPE (PIE) to redistribute traffic heading to PIE (Tuas) and Upper Changi Road East.

According to LTA, motorists will have also an additional option to bypass the stretch of TPE(PIE) between Loyang Flyover & Upper Changi Flyover and the existing signalised junction at Upper Changi Road North/East.

Motorists from Tampines, Pasir Ris and Loyang can continue to use the existing Exit 1 to Upper Changi Road East and PIE(Tuas).
