It’s a sad day for garlic and steak lovers in Singapore.

Known for its garlic-themed restaurant chain that originated in Korea, Mad for Garlic has announced it will be closing down its one and only outlet in Suntec City in late April later this year.

The restaurant is famous for its garlic-infused Italian dishes such as Garlic Steak, Garlicpeno Pasta, Garlic Snowing Pizza and more.

According to an email sent out to members, the restaurant’s lease is set to expire in May and their last day of business will be on 28 April (Fri). The restaurant also thanks its fans for their love and support over the past 13 years.

Sad.

Discount and Vouchers

For Mad for Garlic members who plan to use up their points, they will be able to redeem vouchers and use them until the last day of their business.

Here’s the breakdown:

• 50 points for $5 Mad Voucher (min. $50 spending)
• 100 points for $10 Mad Voucher (min. $100 spending)
• 150 points for $15 Mad Voucher (min. $150 spending)

For non-members or if you can’t hit the minimum spending, there’s a 25% discount coupon you can use on ala carte food items (excluding steak dishes) almost every day of the week except Saturday, the eve of and Public Holidays.
