
Visit the National Orchid Garden for free with your kids this June holiday month
Here’s an activity you can enjoy for free if you are planning to head outdoors this June school holidays.
National Orchid Garden
Nestled in the heart of Singapore Botanic Gardens, the National Orchid Garden is having a School Holiday Special and will be offering free admission to local residents from now till 25 June.
According to the terms and conditions stated, students are required to present valid student cards while Singaporeans, PRs, Work Permit Holders and Dependent Pass Holders are required to present their ID cards or relevant documentation.

Over 60,000 orchids are divided across 4 vegetation of different species according to their landscapes inspired by the four seasons.

Tan Hoon Siang Mist House
Other landscape features visitors can find in the National Orchid Garden include the Crane Fountain, Silver Arches Display and more.
There’s also a video with drone footage and a virtual tour of the garden.
For those driving, the nearest parking is available at the Tyersall Entrance (see map below). The garden opens from 8.30am to 7pm daily (last entry at 6pm).
