Giant inflatables, free activities, and family fun await at the Singapore Sports Hub Open House this June
Looking for a way to keep the kids entertained this June without spending a cent? The National Stadium Open House might just be your answer.
From now till 22 June, the doors are wide open with a range of free family-friendly activities—and this year, it includes a first-of-its-kind inflatable takeover right on the stadium grounds.
Bounce into a World of Fun
The centrepiece attraction? Massive inflatables designed with a nostalgic local twist. Think of the iconic old-school Dragon Slide from the 70s, now reimagined as an 8-metre-tall inflatable for kids to climb and conquer. This slide will be available on 7 and 8 June from 9am to 8pm.
The inflatable fun continues with the 16-metre-long Bumboat Ballpit, a playful tribute to the traditional bumboats of Clarke Quay. Children can bounce, roll, and dive into this colourful inflatable structure during two separate weekends—13 to 15 June and 20 to 22 June, also from 9am to 8pm.
Play Rules and Safety First
Each session allows for 10 minutes of play per child, with safety and supervision as top priorities. Here’s what parents and guardians should note:
- Socks are mandatory inside all inflatables.
- Children aged 3 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
- Parental supervision is required at all times.
- Shoes, sharp objects, bags, and loose items must be removed before entry.
- Those feeling unwell, pregnant, or with medical conditions should sit this one out.
- Inflatables are capped at 10 participants (for larger structures) and 5 (for smaller ones) per session.
Admission is completely free—but registration is required. Kids aged 16 and below must be signed up by a parent or guardian.
Beyond the Bouncy Castles
It’s not just about inflatables. The open house also includes free access to other parts of the Sports Hub.
Cool off at the family-friendly water play area, walk through the historic grounds of the National Stadium, or dive into Singapore’s sporting past at the Sports Museum at 6 Stadium Walk.
From old jerseys to SEA Games medals, the exhibits are a meaningful way to relive iconic moments and inspire the next generation.
