Apple book “Designed by Apple in California”
You have to be either very rich or a big fan to buy the new Apple book.
While technically it isn’t the latest smartphone or state-of-the-art device released by the Cupertino tech giant, the new book titled Designed by Apple in California is a one-of-a-kind collectable for designers and fans.
The book catalogues 20 years of Apple’s design and features 450 photographs of the company’s past and present products including the 1998 iMac to the Apple Pencil introduced last year. The book is also dedicated to the memory of Apple’s founder, Steve Jobs.
The Apple book will be available in two sizes – US$199 for the small (10.20” x 12.75”) and US$299 for large (13” x 16.25”) . The book will be sold online and selected Apple stores in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
Unfortunately, the book won’t be sold here in Singapore but it probably won’t stop fans from shipping it in using forwarders.
