We thought we had it going this year with four long weekend holidays, and although it’s really too early to plan for any vacation dates a year from now but it’s good to know there are a total of seven public holidays that will become long weekends in 2015! It’s official too – Ministry of Manpower made the announcement today so the takeaway from this piece of great news is you can jolly well start putting aside some savings for 2015’s short vacations.
There will only be two months without public holidays – March and October. There might be changes to Deepavali and will be announced during the first half year of 2015. If there is a change, there’s a chance it might make the 8th long weekend public holiday. We have compiled a table of the holidays below for easier viewing.
