Apple Announces New iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 & iMac with Retina Display

Running numbers returns once again


Apple rumours are becoming all very accurate these days. At the keynote happening a few hours ago, the Cupertino’s company announced the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, bringing back the numbering system that went away just a couple years ago. Apart from the new A8X 64-bit chip, 8MP rear camera and Touch ID button, the new iPad Air 2 is now even slimmer and lighter than its predecessors.

Apple has also announced a new iMac with retina display resolution of 5,120 by 2880, two times the resolution of existing iMac models. The huge display resolution will be excellent for enthusiasts and professionals who are working with large resolution 4K videos and photo-editing. The new iMac comes with a speed boost capable of a 4GHz Core i7 processor, the latest AMD R9 graphics processor, Fusion Drive up to 3GB or SSD drives up to 1TB and Thunderbolt 2 ports.

Price for the new iMac with retina display starts at S$3,388.00 including GST and is available for purchase now. The Mac Mini receives an upgrade as well with Intel Core i5 processors and Intel HD 5000 or Iris graphics.
