Shake Shack opening 2nd outlet in Singapore
After much success with their first flagship store in Jewel Changi Airport, popular USA-based burger bar Shake Shack has just announced it will be opening their 2nd outlet here in Singapore.
The new outlet will be located at 89 Neil Rd in the heart of Tanjong Pagar, close to The Pinnacle@Duxton residences.
It’s the same heritage building which used to be the Eng Aun Tong factory where Singapore’s famous Tiger Balm was produced for close to 50 years.
Opening in 2020
The new Shake Shack outlet will be expected to open in the first quarter of 2020, although no exact date has been revealed yet.
Eager Shack fans, however, can take a peek at what to expect at the venue as artwork featuring Shake Shack icons blended with traditional Peranakan cultural patterns has emerged at the building facade.
It even lights up at night, making it an insta-worthy backdrop for visitors.
The hoarding artwork is created in collaboration with Singaporean artist Sam Lo (a.k.a SKL0).
So cool.
Burgers, Fries & Milkshakes
For those unfamiliar with Shake Shack, they serve enormous burgers, crinkle-cut fries and has milkshakes that critics say are some of the best in the industry.
The famous ShackBurger that started it all.
Besides shakes, they also serve beer that pairs up perfectly with the burgers.
Mouth-watering.
