Popular bak kwa brand Lim Chee Guan (林志源) has just announced they will be offering online pre-order and delivery to customers this year starting from 6 January (Wed).
For those not familiar, Lim Chee Guan has been serving traditionally barbecued meat slices (bak kwa) to customers since 1938. Their slices of bak kwa are roasted over charcoal and flipped constantly to maintain the balance of delicate flavour and juicy perfection.
No walk-in orders
This year, Lim Chee Guan won’t be accepting walk-in orders due to the ongoing pandemic and for the safety of all customers and staff.
The only way to enjoy their bak kwa treat is by ordering online from Lim Chee Guan’s official website and have them delivered to you between 20 January and 9 February later this year.
Which also means you won’t find long queues like this at their outlets this year.
However, do note their website is currently down due to overwhelming demand on the first day of preorder.
😖We sincerely apologise that the site will still be down for the whole of today. (07012021)
According to their updates, their technical team is working to fix the issues and will be back up accepting orders again soon.
Check prices first
In the meantime, Lim Chee Guan has released the latest pricelist for their signature slice meat, floss products and other seasonal snacks. The Signature Sliced Pork is priced at $34 per 500g while other slice meat products start from $30 per 500g.
You can start shortlisting favourites so you can place your order right away when the pre-order site is back up again.
