IKEA Jem set to open in a week – here’s a first look inside
IKEA Singapore has confirmed they will be opening their doors at the new Jem outlet to the public on 29 April (Thur).
3-storey IKEA Store
The new IKEA Jem spans 3 storeys and will take up around 6,500 sqm in the mall. It has taken up units formerly occupied by Robinsons, which closed in August last year.

A netizen on Facebook who has access to the new IKEA store uploaded photos of how the place looks like inside.
Similar to IKEA Tampines and Alexandra, the store is divided into multiple areas with sections including Cooking and Eating, Bathroom, Bedroom, Dining and more.
There will be a Swedish Food Market with racks of IKEA snacks and goodies.
There’s also a Swedish Bistro where shoppers can enjoy quick bites such as hotdogs, curry puffs, ice cream and more.
There’s even a new Click & Collect dining system for hungry visitors.
Escalators in-store lets shoppers navigate the 3 levels conveniently.

According to the Facebook netizen, the new store will also be equipped with these features:
- Accessibility with escalators and lift
- Keeping us safe with sanitisers around the stores
- Cafe to quench your thirst and hunger
- Ample checkout counters for speedy purchase
